Mansfield supt. on leave, under investigation

MANSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Superintendent of Mansfield Schools, Fred Baruzzi has been placed on administrative leave to further investigate his travel practices and reimbursement.

The Board of Education chair, Randy Walikonis sent a letter to the community yesterday to let them know of the change.

For now, Rachel Leclerc will be temporarily filling in as Superintendent.

In the letter, the Board of Education chair assures that students, families and staff will be assisted through this process.
