Police: man pushed his girlfriend onto RR tracks

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — A Naugatuck woman is recovering Friday night after being pushed onto train tracks Thursday.

Police said her boyfriend, Christopher Norton, did it.

An oncoming Metro-North train stopped while rescue crews got her onto a stretcher. Police arrested Norton, 39, on assault charges. He appeared in court today and is being held in lieu of $250,000 bond.
