GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH) —  A woman is accused of assaulting a police officer after she was arrested on domestic violence charges early Friday.

Sharon C. Vignone, 47, of Deerfield Drive, Broad Brook, is charged with assaulting a police officer, disorderly conduct, third-degree assault and interfering with an officer.

Police said Vignone and Philip A. Vespa, 47, of Holliston, Mass., were arguing in the parking garage of Plan B. When officers arrived and investigated, both were arrested and Vignone assaulted the officer as she was being placed in the cruiser, police said.

Vespa was charge with disorderly conduct, and his bond was set at $2,500, and Vignone’s bond was set at $100,000 for appearances in Manchester Superior Court.

* UPDATE: Mr. Vespa’s arrest was nullified by the court the following day and his case no is longer a part of the investigation.
