MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — Two people are in custody, after an East Central Narcotics Taskforce bust at Studio 6 Motel on Spencer Street.

Aubrey Johnson, 44, and Amanda Pelletier, 29, both of Willimantic, were arrested on multiple charges including possessing and intending to sell drugs.

Officers say they were watching the motel for prostitution and drug activity when they saw Johnson arrive. As police approached, they say, Johnson hid items in a garbage bag. Police found heroin inside that bag.

Police say, they arrested Pelletier after finding her waiting in the car for Johnson with marijuana in her possession. Officers also found cocaine, more heroin, marijuana, and a lot of cash and cellphones in the car.

Both Johnson and Pelletier are being held on $100,000 surety.
