HEBRON, Conn. (WTNH) – A Hebron man has been charged for his role in a Maine crash that killed two people early Wednesday.

William Gerardi, 21, is charged with one felony count of furnishing liquor to a minor after Maine police learned that that prior to the crash, he “provided liquor to both occupants of the fatal crash while at a residence on Merry Lane in Boothbay.”

The Lincoln County, Maine, Sheriff’s Office identified the driver in the Boothbay double fatal crash earlier today as 19-year-old Casey Dalton, Boothbay. Police withheld the identity of the 17-year-old passenger.

Gerardi was transported to the Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset where bail was set at $5,000 cash, which police said he was unable to post.
