NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Five people are facing charges, after police were called to what they’re describing as a “brewing fight.” It happened just before midnight Monday.

Officers were called to Limerick Street and ended up finding the group nearby on Ferry Street. Police say Jesus Valle, 18, ran when he saw them arriving.

When they caught up with him, police say, they found a pair of guns near where Valle was hiding.

Valle is facing multiple charges, including carrying a pistol without a permit.

Police also arrested four other people for trespassing.
