PLAINFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — One person is recovering from minor injuries after police say a scooter hit a Prius.

It happened yesterday afternoon at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Second street.

Police say the driver of the Toyota Prius, Imre Berty, was stopped at a stop sign when he was hit by a young man on a scooter.

The man on the scooter, Gavin Guertin, says he was unable to stop when driving down the hill and crashed right into the car.

He only sustained minor injuries to his leg.
