Trumbull man shot in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — A 45-year-old Trumbull man is recovering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound he suffered early Friday on Trumbull Aveneu.

Police identified the victim as Henderson Baldwin, who was shot in the leg. He was driven to by private car to St. Vincent’s Medical Center following the incident, which took place in the 400-block of Trumbull Avenue about 2:30 a.m., police said.

At first, “officers did not locate any victims but did find a sneaker and a pool of blood in the area where the shots were reported.” But they did find two vehicles that were hit by gunfire. No arrests were made by Friday afternoon.
