MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – One person wrote a bad check and the other used someone else’s credit card, Milford police say.

Laura Eddings, 49, of Bridgeport Avenue, Milford, is charged with illegal use of a credit card. Police said Eddings used her roommate’s credit card to pay utility bills and make another purchase, both without permission. She is free on a written promise to appear in Milford Superior Court on Aug. 26.

In another case, Neekeeta Brown-Musonda, 44, of Seymour Avenue, Derby, is charged with sixth-degree larceny for writing Costco a check for $162.93 that bounced on May 8. She is free on her own recognizance.
