Body found behind Waterbury home identified

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH)– A dead body found by two brothers last month in Waterbury has just been idenfitied.

Police say 56-year-old Mark Novocinski from Waterbury had been dead for some time, before his body was found in the woods behind a home off Denver Place. The home belonged to Edwin Maldonado, who discovered the body. Edwin’s home and his brother’s business are on private property in the industrial area.

An autopsy ruled out foul play. There is no word yet if drugs or alcohol played a role in his death.
