Dancing With Our Heroes

(WTNH)– Dance Instructor Annie Rockhill from the Fred Astaire Dance Studios and Retired Marine Archie Hunnicutt talk abut Dancing with our Heroes and the progress of the heroes in their dancing lessons.

They explain what it has been like to learn to dance and what the transformation to a dancer has been like. They also talk about Fisher House and why Archie is so excited about his participation in this event.

Archie’s Military career began in September 1985 when he enlisted in the US Marines. After a meritorious promotion from boot camp, Archie served the first part of his tour at Naval Weapons Station Concord, CA in a dual MOS in security forces and part of the reactionary force team. The second half of his tour was at Camp Pendleton, second battalion 9th Marine, as a grunt in a weapons platoon as an 0351 anti-tank assault man.

The Dancing with our Heroes Gala will be held September 13, 2014 at the Connecticut Convention Center. To vote for the heroes or buy tickets go to www.dancingwithourheroes.com.
