HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Hartford police officer has been arrested and charged for the second time this week with larceny.
The Hartford Police Department said 34-year-old Luis Feliciano turned himself in Thursday to internal affairs without incident after a second warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was charged with larceny in the fifth degree and possession of a shoplifting device. He remains suspended without pay.
Feliciano was arrested on the same charges Tuesday. Investigators say Feliciano was caught on camera stealing merchandise while working a security job at Walmart.
Feliciano is due in court on Monday on both charges.
The officer has been with Hartford police for more than two years.
