NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – This week has been Caribbean week in Hartford.

There are lots of celebrations, and with celebrations comes alcohol sometimes.

Joining Jim Watkins on set was Bethany Swonson, a mixologist to show him how to make a signature cocktail from Aruba.

-1 oz. Vanilla Vodka

-1/2 oz. Mandarin Vodka

-2 dashes Angostura Bitters

-1/3 Lemon Squeezed

-1/2 oz Simple Syrup

-Bluberries & Strawberries

-Ginger Ale

The cocktail is inspired by the Guadirikiri Cave in Aruba’s rugged Northern coast.
