Man hit, killed by car in Bristol

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — A Bristol man was hit and killed by a car late Thursday.

Ronald S. Perille, 27, was hit by a 2010 Mercedes Benz about 9:30 p.m. while crossing the 600 block of Wolcott Street. He suffered head and chest injuries and was transported by Bristol EMS ambulance to Bristol Hospital, where he later died, police said.

The driver, Sara Hubeny, 31, of Terryville, was not injured and was not immediately charged. The crash remains under investigation by the Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team. Anyone with information is asked to call the Traffic Division at (860) 584-3030.
