Car flips over Milford seawall, lands upside down

MILFORD, Conn. (AP) — A woman has been hospitalized after the car she was driving plunged over a seawall in Milford and landed upside down on rocks.

The car clipped a utility pole Sunday before dropping about 30 feet.

Fire Capt. Gregory J. Carman said removing the unidentified woman was complicated because she was strapped in by a seat belt and was upside down. He said she was alert and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
