FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Fairfield Ludlowe High School paraprofessional is accused of dragging a 17-year-old female student down a school hallway last May.

John Nuzzolo, of Moose Hill Road in Oxford, was arrested on a warrant Monday charging him with second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.

Police said he and the teen began talking before he grabbed her by the backpack and dragged her 30 feet. She screamed and he let her go and walked away, police said. He later resigned.

His bond was set at $5,000 for an Aug. 25 appearance in Bridgeport Superior Court.
