CANTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A New Hartford man is in custody, he’s accused of leaving the scene after hitting a pedestrian with his car.

The accident happened on Simonds Avenue in Canton Wednesday night. Police arrived on the scene and found the 32 year old victim laying in the road, he was later airlifted to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
