Man arrested for stealing $8,000 in jewelry

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A North Haven man was arrested for stealing nearly $8,000 in jewelry.

Police say 38-year-old Joshua Robinson robbed a home on Clark avenue back in July 2014. The homeowners noticed the jewelry was missing, along with some cash and reported it to police. Following an investigation, they figured out it was Robinson who took it.

Police say Robinson broke into the home on four different occasions. The victims were able to get their jewelry back. Robinson is charged with four counts of Burglary Third Degree, and Larceny Third, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth Degree.
