MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a crash on Main Street near East Middle Turnpike late Friday, police said.

Police did not identify the drivers. The motorcyclist had life-threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital, police said. “While very early in the investigation, it does not appear that speed and/or driver impairment were a factor in this crash,” police said.

Members of the Manchester Police Traffic Unit and the Metro Traffic Reconstruction Team responded to investigate. The collision remains under investigation and anyone with additional information or who may have witnessed this collision is encouraged to contact Ofc. Jason Moss at (860) 645-5560.
