3 arrested in West Hartford home invasion

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)- Police arrested three people after they allegedly robbed a man on the street.

Police say a suspect was standing on Farmington Ave. when one of the suspects showed a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet. Police say the suspects took $70.

Police say a little later, two suspects committed an armed home invasion on Lowell Rd. Police say the suspects got in the house through an unlocked window, pointed a gun at the homeowner and told him to be quiet. Police say the suspects also threatened him with a knife, and were in the house for about an hour.

Then, a woman was outside her home nearby, when she saw someone coming towards her. Police say as the woman went back inside, the suspect pointed what may have been a gun at her.

Police believed the incidents were related. Police used K9’s and found two suspects hiding in bushes nearby. A third suspect was arrested in Hartford.

Police arrested 19-year-old Jaquarius Carter, 18-year-old Terrance Clarle, and 21-year-old Ashley Blagrove.
