Stamford police investigating man’s death

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police in Stamford are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man who was found unresponsive in a bedroom of a home over the weekend.

Authorities told The Advocate that other people in the home off Soundview Avenue called 911 on Sunday afternoon after finding the man in his bed not breathing. Police say the man was pronounced dead after extensive efforts by paramedics to revive him.

The man’s name is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of his family.

The medical examiner’s office will be performing an autopsy.

Police say the man was last seen alive at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday.
