Fire tears through Enfield home

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The cause of a morning fire at a home in Enfield is under investigation.

The fire was reported before sunrise at 394 Elm St. Video released by firefighters in Enfield to News 8 show the bright orange flames engulfing part of the house.

Authorities say the two and a-half story home was vacant.

We don’t know yet what may have sparked the fire. No injuries have been reported.

News 8 will have updates on the cause of the fire as soon as we have the information.
