STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–A Stamford CEO is getting some serious flack tonight after he was caught on camera kicking a dog in an elevator.

Des Hague, the CEO of a food and beverage company called Center-Plate, was seen on surveillance video kicking his dog several times and pulling it by the leash as he walked off the elevator.

The footage was recorded in Vancouver, British Columbia. Hague has admitted that it was him in the elevator. He issued a statement, apologizing for his actions.

Hague said the action was completely out of character, and he says he’s ashamed and embarrassed.

Now fans are calling on a Canadian football team to drop its contract with his catering company over the video.
