Norwich Drug Bust

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)  – After a long investigation into drug activity in downtown Norwich, police have arrested a man with the intent to sell heroin.

Police say they found heroin and cash in an apartment on Franklin Street. They’ve arrested 22-year-old Steve Beas and charged him with possession of heroin, intent to sell and interfering with a search warrant.

They also arrest 23-year-old Jorge Miranda who lives in the Franklin Street apartment. They say he was interfering with a search warrant.

Beas is being held on $75,000 bond.  Miranda was released on a $500 bond.
