3 people arrested in West Hartford in disagreement over prostitution fees

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Three people are facing charges, two related to prostitution, after a disagreement over payment.

It happened at Smoker’s Discount World. West Hartford Police say the store owner reported a woman took a hookah pipe without paying. When police showed up they found the owner along and two women. During the investigation police discovered, one of the women had taken the hookah pipe as part of a disagreement over payment for sexual services. The woman told police, she went to the store after the owner saw her profile on a website.

All three people ended up being arrested. Malik Moeed, 24, is being charged with falsely reporting an incident and patronizing a prostitute. Mattei Yamilet, 18, is charged with prostitution and larceny, and the third person, Danielle Santos, 21, is charged with criminal mischief.
