Arrest made in large scale drug dealing

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — The East Hartford Police Department has made a narcotics arrest after a lengthy investigation.

While conducting surveillance, police developed probable cause that the suspect, Luis Nieves-Feliciano, was engaging in large-scale narcotics deal.

Police stopped him and searched his car, finding more than $38,000 in cash inside that vehicle.

When they went to the man’s home they found an additional $29,000 in cash as well as two pounds of cocaine and paraphernalia consistent with a drug factory operation

He’s now facing charges for narcotics, possession with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of a controlled substance.
