SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A former daycare employee has been arrested, accused of stealing more than $10,000 from her employer.

32-year-old Jennifer Zubek of Meriden was arrested Wednesday on charges of second-degree larceny.

Police say the owner of a Deming Street Day Care facility filed a complaint back in January, claiming Zubek had taken cash payments from the business. Police say it was an excess of $10,000 over the last year.

Zubek is out on $25,000 bond. She will face a judge in Manchester Superior Court on September 4.
