Bristol bank robber sought by police

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Right now, Bristol police officers are looking for the suspect wanted in a bank robbery.

It happened at the TD Bank on Broad Street in Bristol on Sunday.

When officers arrived on the scene the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Employees at the bank say the man approached the bank teller, handing in a note that he had a gun. The suspect was then given the cash.

No weapon was ever shown and no one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is described as a while male, in this early 20’s wearing a baseball cap long, dark shorts and a long sleeved shirt.

The incident is being investigated.
