NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton is headed to New Haven to help raise money for Democrats.
Clinton was scheduled to appear for a rally Tuesday at the Omni New Haven Hotel. He will be joined by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman, who are seeking re-election in November.
U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy are also scheduled to be on hand for the event, which begins at 11:30 a.m.
In an email sent to Democratic supporters last week, attendees can purchase tickets online at $50 each. The ticket order form says money raised at the event will be used “in connection with federal elections.”
