Southington, Conn. (WTNH) – Armed robbers held up the Burger King last night, and struck a restaurant worker in the head with a gun.  Police say 3 or 4 men entered through the back door of the restaurant on Meriden Waterbury Turnpike, when a worker was taking out the trash.  The robbers flashed a gun, hit and employee, then took off with cash from the registers.  The robbers were last seen in a silver Acura. The worker was treated at the hospital for a head wound, but should be ok.
