Jaws of life called to Foxon Road crash in East Haven

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — East Haven police are investigating a bad accident on Foxon Road. It shut that area down for quite some time yesterday.

We don’t know a lot of details other than the information available through East Haven Fire Department’s Twitter account. We know the accident happened sometime around 6:30 p.m. and it involved two cars.

The jaws of life were called in to get to the victim in at least one of those cars. Someone was also transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital. No word on the names of the people involved or just how bad their injuries are at this point.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
