(WTNH)– Jenn Kuehn, Heidi Shepherd and client Tracy Hardy show us how to workout by Shift Cycling.

Boutique indoor cycling is the hottest trend in fitness right now. It is an efficient, effective and addictive work out. One part intense cardio and one part motivation, mixed in an epic stadium style space with awesome instructors and a shot of heart pumping music. With 60 minutes of cycling you can ride 15-20 miles and burn close to 600 calories – it is a fantastic way to lose weight and build fitness.

SHiFT Cycling is the only dedicated cycling studio on the Shoreline. It is a stylish space with instructors focused on pushing you to the next level. Their state-of-the-art bikes are decked out with top-of-the-line technology that allows riders to track their performance real-time, delivering an optional competitive element. People of any fitness level can participate as they are in control of their resistance and speed. With theme rides and special events, it is always changing at SHiFT.

A typical ride includes warm up, sprints, hills, intervals and cool down. The instructors help you with your bike ensuring you have the right seat height understand how to use the technology and the have the right form. The intensity of the work out is excellent for fitness and weight loss goals.

SHiFT Cycling is owned by Jenn Kuehn, who left the corporate world to pursue a career in fitness. Called a life coach meets drill Sargent, Jenn believes in the mind body connection. She launched SHiFT in March and has quickly built a strong and thriving business. She is looking to expand her class roster and incorporate additional locations.

SHiFT Cycling is organizing a fundraiser, SHiFT for SARAH, to be held on Sunday, October 19th from 10 – 2 pm. Bikes will be taken outside for an epic Spin OUT – a cycle-athon to raise money for the SARAH Foundation. Under a tent with a live DJ, we will hold 4 45 minute SHiFTs. Pick a SHiFT for a $100 donation. Individuals can team up and do all for SHiFTs for a minimum of $600 – and they can tag team in out of the ride. The event will be fun for friends and family with food trucks, a brewery, face painting, tattoos, complimentary massages for the riders, a silent suction… a great day for a great cause.

SHiFT Cycling is located at 965 Boston Post Road in Guilford. For more information call 203.533.5792 or go to
