Upcoming Walk to End Alzheimer’s

(WTNH)– Christy Kovel, Donna Prezant and her mother Evelyn Ferdinand talk about Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter and the  Walk to End Alzheimer’s in New Haven.

More than 6,000 people attended a walk in 2013 and over $800,000 was raised for care, support and research for people with Alzheimer’s disease. Gil Simmons is the emcee for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s in New Haven.

Donna the team captain of Larry’s team, one of the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s happening in 6 locations in the state in September.  Donna walks and raises funds in memory of her father Larry who passed away in 2012.

Donna talks about how she got involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and why the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is important to raise awareness and funds for those affected. Click here for her personal team site.
