ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The community of Enfield is helping a shooting victim’s family heal. Jonathan Torres, 19, was killed Wednesday night, and last night about a hundred people gathered on the Enfield Town Green to remember the high school senior.

Torres’ cousin, Tom Torres, says the community support will help the healing process, “the wounds are always going to be there, there’s never really any closure, but when you have a lot of friends and family coming together, it kind of eases some of the pain.”

Police have made four arrests in connection to Torres’ death. Takai Brown and Sheyenne Concepcion, both 18, are facing larceny and other charges. The other suspects are both under eighteen, so police aren’t releasing their names.

Police are still investigating Torres’ death, so far none of the suspects have been directly charged with pulling the trigger.
