Grace’s top movies of the summer

Grace Randolph talks about the summer hits of 2014 on Good Morning Connecticut.

(WTNH) — What was your top film of the summer? It was a pretty weak summer at the box office, says Grace Randolph of Beyond the Trailer.

She joined News 8’s Good Morning Connecticut Friday to talk about Hollywood’s less than spectacular box office. Thanks to strong ticket sales in China, “Transforms: Age of Extinction” was the top grossing movie on the planet, with more than a billion dollars in sales.

“Guardians of the Galaxy” is the top grossing film in the U.S.

Grace says one hidden gem that she likes is the Tom Cruise movie “Edge of Tomorrow”, renamed “Live, Die, Repeat”.
