Interpreting Your Dreams

(WTNH)– Donna Velardi from Zodiapet talks about dream interpretation.

Everyone dreams but lack of dream activity can mean protein deficiency or a personality disorder. Five minutes after the end of the dream 1/2 the content is forgotten, after 10 minutes 90% is forgotten. Your emotional state in the dream is as important as the symbols themselves.

Dreams can have different meanings depending on your emotional state. Example:  Dream of a wedding could mean scared/anxious refers to feelings of bitterness or sorrow.  Happy/excited refers to a new beginning or transition.

Dreams come to guide you and to show you a way out of a dilemma.  Ask yourself what is going on in your waking hours? What does this dream remind me of my waking life? What is my emotional state in the dream? Is there a reason I needed this dream?  What am I trying to avoid or confront in my dream?

Velardi will be teaching Dream Interpretation through ERACE (Branford High School) on Sept. 23rd 7-9 p.m. and at Wallingford Adult Ed (Sheehan High School) Sept. 30th 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Fairfield Adult Ed (Ludlow Middle Schoo) Nov. 6th 7-9 p.m.
