Multiple crews battle Hebron fire

HEBRON, Conn. (WTNH)–Fire crews from multiple towns are battling a three-alarm house fire in Hebron. The fire broke out at 324 Jagger Lane in Hebron at around 3:20 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Members of the Bolton, Columbia, Marlborough, Glastonbury and Manchester fire departments responded to the fire.

The fire department said they were unsure if anyone was in the home when the fire started. Five people did lose their home to the fire.

Firefighters said one of the major challenges in battling the blaze was a propane tank which sat close to the home. In all, it took about one hour to get the flames under control.

Neighbors say they will be stepping up to help the family recover.
