Turkish Hostages Freed

ANKARA, Turkey (WTNH) — Some good news coming out of Turkey today.

The terror group ISIS released 49 Turkish hostages it has been holding.

The militants overran the Turkish consulate in the Iraq city of Mosul back in June.

The release of these hostages comes after the recent beheadings of two U.S. journalists and a British aid worker.

The U.S. and Britian have made it clear they do not bargain or pay ransom to terrorist kidnappers.

Right now it’s not clear how Turkey was able to safely secure its citizens.
