Masked man robs South Windsor store at knife point

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in South Windsor are investigating an armed robbery.

It happened at the Oakland Road convenience store on Tuesday evening.

According to police, a man went into the store and displayed a knife to the clerk. He then got away with cash from the register, fleeing in the direction of Wapping Plaza.

He’s described as wearing jeans, a sweatshirt and a mask.

Anyone with information is asked to give South Windsor police a call.
