Body found in Hartford may be suicide

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police are investigating the death of a person whose body was found on a the side of a city street.

The police investigation is going on at 100 Trumbull St., A building in the heart of Downtown Hartford near Bushnell Park.

The unidentified victim was found around 6:30 a.m., and pronounced dead at St. Francis Hospital. The body was found partially on the sidewalk and partially on the street by a pedestrian.

Hartford Police Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley says that all evidence seems to indicate that this was a suicide, News 8’s Mark Davis reports. No other details are immediately available. The department’s Major Crimes Division is investigating.
