As you know, our region was under a heightened risk for severe weather early Wednesday morning. As an avid storm chaser, Meteorology student and Skywarn Spotter I was ready to go with sufficient caffeine on board by 2:00AM. I made quite a run over the morning hours through Eastern Connecticut and Coastal Rhode Island (where the SPC had favored for the greatest threat area reaching up towards Providence and just South of Boston) and although I didn’t run into any really severe weather, I did get a few surprises…and a few really good pictures!
