Yoga For Insomnia

(WTNH)– Yoga Instructor 200hr RYT Rachel Baer from Yoga-Keeps-Me-Fit shows us how to use yoga for insomnia.

She discusses breathing using the three part breath which slows down the mind, helps you focus on the breathing rather than your thoughts, helps relax body & mind. Baer also gives gentle techniques anyone can use to help relax the body & mind to aid sleep. You can tense and relax the body combined with breathing and gentle movements.

Baer started her business Yoga-Keeps-Me-Fit three years ago, she love fitness & especially yoga & wanted to find a way to pass the love & benefits on to others. She specializes in chair yoga for seniors. She sees the benefits of movement far more quickly here than in any other age group.
