Threat of Severe Weather AM Thursday…Tracking First Flurries!

Weather stories this afternoon and evening include Thursday’s rain and thunder, slight threat of severe weather and yes I am seeing a shot at some flurries for the hill towns next week…

Warmer and muggy today and tonight through the overnight but winds will start to shift east and so we start to get cooler air moving in and breezy  conditions by the weekend.
SHowers moving in from west to east and massive cold front could bring us enough lift so not ruling out the threat for a few strong storms especially SW. We could get a good amount of rain and totals could reach up to 1.5″ and even more for isolated locations.
I’ll post models and radar updates tonight on FB and twitter.
Meantime clearing early Friday. Added spot shower Saturday and major cool down Sunday. Next Tuesday could bring us the season’s first flurries! Pretty exciting!
