New and developing this morning, we’ve learned that The City of New Haven’s Dept. of Health has just issued new guidelines for all children registering into the NHPS.  In an email News 8 uncovered school officials are being advised to ask would be students, “Has anyone in your family or anyone else in your household traveled through or resided in an Ebola-affected area — currently Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone – within the last 21 days?”

We got our hands on the email which was sent to the New Haven Board of Health Commissioners late last night.  This on the heels of the recent Ebola scare at Yale-New Haven Hospital.  The preliminary results from that patient came back negative.  We have crews looking at every angle and will bring you the latest developments.
