Zumba for Latin Heritage Month

(WTNH)– Owner of Alisa’s House of Salsa, Alisa K. Bowens; Zumba Kids Instructor, Sujeily Rosa; and students Anthony Marin and Yarelis Diaz talk Salsa & Zumba Dancing, Youth of all Ages and Nationalities embracing Latin Culture.

On the Heels of Hispanic Heritage Month the Fiesta continues with their Adults & Teens. Kids are embracing dancing, its a way to have fun and learn about different cultures through dancing.

Classes are held weekly for youth, the learn to Salsa & Zumba, it gives them an activity that they really love. There are health benefits and it helps battle obesity in this day in age.

They also discuss recent performance at the Peabody Museum for “Fiesta Latina”. Classes are Open to the public Walk-ins are always welcome.

Alisa’a House of Salsa, Specializes in All forms of Dancing, but specializes in Latin Dancing. A staple in the community for the past 14 years, Alisa’s House of Salsa, has brought a community together through, Music, Art, Culture and Dance. Taught the World Largest Salsa Lesson in 2010 and appeared on MTV’ MADE.
