East Hartford, Conn. (WTNH)— The East Hartford police department is currently investigating a bank robbery on Tuesday.
Police say the suspect entered First Niagara bank on Silver Street and passed a note to the teller demanding money. The suspect left the bank with the note and an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 25-35 years old, 5’9″, with a medium to large build, as well as a light beard and short to medium hair. The suspect was wearing a light gray hoodie and sweatpants, dark sneakers, as well as sunglasses, at the time of the robbery. He was last seen running west on Silver Lane.
