Manchester, Conn. (WTNH) – Manchester Police have arrested a man who stabbed an acquaintance in their town on Sunday. Police say 26 year old Edward Walker stabbed the victim numerous times during an altercation at a Foster Street residence. The 34 year old male victim suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries according to police. Walker, of 261 Spruce Street, Manchester, was originally charged with first degree assault and breach of peace. After his arraignment in court Wednesday, the only charge he is facing now is Attempted Murder. Walker’s bond is set at $500,000. His next court date is December 2nd, in Manchester Superior Court.
