Brother vs. Brother Stabbing

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in North Haven have arrested a man they say stabbed his estranged brother.

Police say 42-year-old Richard Jeannette stabbed his brother in the torso after having an argument. It happened Sunday just before 6 p.m. The two brothers were visiting their father at local physical rehabilitation facility.  The stabbing allegedly took place in the parking lot of the facility.

The victim ran back to his home in Hamden where he dialed 911.  The Hamden Fire Department treated the victim at his home and then brought him to the hospital.

Richard Jeannette is being held on a $100,000 dollars bond and is expected to appear in Meriden Superior Court next week.
