Two killed in fatal hit and run

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– A Stamford man and Cos Cob woman are dead following a hit and run accident at West Main Street and Alvord Lane Friday night.

Police say Henry Nixon was a passenger in a Nissan that ran a red light at the intersection, hitting a BMW. According to police, Nixon was thrown from the Nissan onto the road, and died a short time later. They say the driver of that car took off.

Judith Andriulli, a passenger in the BMW, died Saturday morning at Stamford Hospital.

Her husband, Anthony Andriulli, was taken to Stamford Hospital as well. His condition is not known.

Police say the driver of the Nissan fled on foot towards Greenwich. They describe her as a black female about 5’5″ tall.

Anyone with information about the Nissan and its occupants is asked to contact Stamford police.
