Naugatuck man bites ex-wife during argument

Naugatuck, Conn. (WTNH) — Naugatuck police have arrested a man they bit his ex-wife during an argument early Saturday morning.

At 3:45 a.m., police responded to 495 Water Street on a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man and woman loudly arguing while three kids were trying to sleep in the home. Police saw that the woman had been injured.

The female victim informed police that her ex-husband hat bit her during the argument. Officers did not report how seriously she had been hurt from the bite.

Police arrested the victim’s ex-husband, 27-year-old Juan Rosado, of Naugatuck. He was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, disorderly conduct, and risk of injury to a child.

Rosado was arraigned at Waterbury Superior Court on Monday, and was released on a $50,000 bond.
